Achy Anus
Hi everyone,

I healed a chronic anal fissure on the left side of my anus about a month ago. However, I still have a slight twinge of pain where it was. For anyone who has healed their fissure, is this normal?

It seems to only happen during the evening. I have no pain during a bowel movement, no blood.

It feels like it's a few inches in on the left side. Like a slight ache.

Any help or opinions would be appreciated

I have been dealing with fissures for many years. Just now I'm in the almost healed stage. Though I haven't had a painful bm in several weeks, yet there is a little spastic pain every day. It seems like the sphincter has a memory and seems to say " now I have to do something" ;-) I have this with each fissure that healed.
