LIS scheduled for Monday...and helpful suggestion

I am scheduled to have a LIS done Monday. I'm looing forward to getting it donw, but nervous. I mean, if my a$$ hurts this bad to go poop now, what is is going to be like with the fissure still there AND a new incision?

Also, I have had diarrhea for the past several days, so (I can't believe I'm saying this) that has been nice, lol. Nothing hard to cause the extra pain. Anyhow, it also means I don't have to take a laxative before the surgery.

Oh, btw, I wanted to share something that has helped me. I bought some store brand Tucks pads. Wearing gloves, of course, I hold the pad just up next to the fissure and apply some pressure, so when I poop that area doesn't seem to stretch as bad, thus slightly less pain.

I have also been using them to wipe with. I am very regular, even with this problem, and so I have to go every morning right after I get to school. I have started taking a little zip lock baggie with them in it where ever I go, that wy I can go without the severe pain.
