| Right Hemicolectomy and very frequent bm's, from 3-10 a day and night
I am so depressed, This has soooo afffected my quality of . Two years ago I had a right hemicolectomy due to an extremely early cancer found in my secum which is above the appendix. I was blessed that it was caught so early. It was'nt classified and I did not need chemo or radiation. The surgeon did remove 13 inches of my ascending colon. My life has never been the same. I am crying as I type this. I have a prescription for Lomotil 2.5 mg 3x a day and I use alot of Imodium. Many times i am up 4-5 hours a night. I am so grateful and thankful that this was caught early but my quality of life is minimal. has anyone else had this problem or can anyone advise me how I can cope with this. I have offered it up to the Lord to help make me stronger. I sometimes feel guilty because many others are dealing with so much more. any advice or help would be soooo much appreciated.
