| Tailbone pain with hemorrhoids???
41yr. old female in good health other than mild IBS pretty much my whole life. Well, I think I have internal hemorrhoids. Only because I can't see anything externally, but if I pull back I do see some small bulges kinda pop out (sorry for the graphics, but never had this before)
I started with tailbone pain in March....noticed it when sitting in a movie theater for a long time. It seemed to go away and then returned about 3 weeks ago.
My tailbone hurts just sitting in a car for 1/2 hour drive.
I have been using PrepH and it alleviates the burning and pain.
BM's are not painful and there is no visible blood.
Is tailbone pain a symptom of internal hemorrhoids? Are the two even related?
Will these go away on their own and how long will it take?
At what point do I need to have these checked out?
I dread going to the dr. for this, ugh...how embarrassing.
What kind of dr. do I see? A gastro?
There is also a family history...grandfather: colon cancer, uncle: rectal cancer.
