| Spinal stenosis, Cervical Spine DDD, Bladder problem
Hi All, I had ACDF surgery February 2012 because of subluxation and spinal stenosis of my C7,T1. July 2011 i was doing the butterfly stroke and had horrible pain that night and it continued for about a week when i decided that i need to see the doctor. After diagnosed I discovered I have a bulging disc and moderate spinal stenosis of my C5,6. I also have a bone spur sticking in a nerve and closing off the left side of my foramen there.
I'm having a posterior foraminotomy on June 2012 to remove the bone spur. I also have a mild bulging disc at c6,7, mild stenosis and an osteophyte, but the doctor does not want to operate there and do another fusion because of restriction of ROM.
I have excruciating shoulder and neck pain, left arm pain down to my hand and recently started having pain in my whole right arm. Ive been on pain pills 24/7 for months now.
I noticed in the last 2 days I feel like I have to pee all the time and unable to empty my bladder. How do I know if this is just a bladder infection or has to do with my spinal problems?
I'm hoping this surgery solves my issues, but I'm also worried that I'm still going to have pain and my c6,7 is going to get worse.
Has anyone experienced anything similar to this and became pain free? Or did your pain continue?
