| Bleeding after PPH
First time poster here! 49 year old male.
Had PPH surgery 6 days ago to sort out prolapsing piles.
Very very sore first few days but better last couple. Eating only soup and fruit and fibre cereal, drinking lots of water.
Still sore after BMs.
No pain today but am bleeding from rectum. It happens when I try and pass urine - I try and do this standing up as I don't want to sit on the loo unnecessarily - and in relaxing to do the wee my rectal muscles also relax and blood leaks out. It smells a bit, is dark red or maroon in colour, and seems to have the odd small lump of blood (clot?) and some dried blood.
Can anyone give me an idea what is going on?
