i can have a bm maybe 3 times a day but that's with fiber pills everyday ., but whether i have a bm or not i still have the full feeling.. i don't know what to do anymore , i really need some input. anyone ? at this point im lost and dont think my doctor takes me serious
i have stomach pains and back pains
full feeling
bloating
im burping alot and alot of gas ...
I would suspect with the bloating, excess gas, etc. that you may have lactose intolerance, milk/dairy protein allergy, or gluten intolerance. I spent 60 years feeling that way before I found out I had the last 2 problems. I also had terrible constipation, and since going on a dairy free, gluten free diet, I am so much better! Lactose intolerance is easier to deal with, as the diet for the allergies is rather restrictive. I would get some testing done for those things, as I think if you have objective evidence, you are more likely to adhere to the diet. The testing should be done with IGG antibodies, not IGE, which is what most food allergy panels are. Pinning this down can be tricky, so you might want to start just reading about those problems to get general info and keeping a food/symptom diary. Sometimes eliminating the culprits is the only way to tell and that can take a few weeks to be noticeable. Elimination diets can interfere with test results, so please get the tests first, then do the elimination if nothing shows up.

ive gotten to the point were i dont want to eat and for the past few months i been eating maybe 2 times a day . i dont drink milk or eat anything dairy maybe some shredded cheese but other then that nothing that i know of. im just scared it will be something serious and my doctor wont take it serious , its really getting miserable. i drink alot of water also .
Did you have a baby recently? If so, you should think about seeing a pelvic floor specialist. You sound like you have a lot of the same problems I have had. I ended up finding out that I have a significant tear in my sphincter muscle and have to have surgery to correct it.
This may be a dumb question, but have you had ultrasounds done on your gall bladder and/or pancreas?
Well i guess the ultrasound would be for your gall bladder.... believe they test pancreatic enzyme via a blood test.
Brandy my.last.child was born.in 06 ive had xrays done an blood work they say its fine .. an camper I haven't had my gallbladder checked I.have a.doc.appt today at 4 should I.ask them to look.at.it?
I am in no way a doctor, but yes, I would definitely have them check your gallbladder (ultrasound, just like when you are pregnant) and the pancreatic enzyme they can check via bloodwork.
I had to have my gallbladder removed a few years ago and your symptoms sound very similar to mine. An inflamed, or full of stones gallbladder often leads to pancreatitis... Very painful, and gets worse the longer you don't get it checked out. Before I finally went to the ER (my gallbladder was in the process of rupturing because i took so long to go), I couldnt even drink water without getting a severe attack. Prior to that point, I would always feel full and full of gas.... noticed that the most painful area was almost like a "band" between my stomach and chest and also off to the shoulder area. Its definitely worth getting it checked out in my opinion.

Sorry for the double post. Just signed up here.. not sure why it posted twice.
Forgot to mention, that the shortness of breath was a big time symptom I had. I think its from the pressure of the inflammation of the organs. Mine got so bad, when I tried to talk the night I went to the ER, it sounded like i had the "dry heaves" - like when a kid cries A LOT and tries to talk and they almost sound like they are stuttering... you know what I mean?
Hi. Something I noticed that you said you took were fiber pills. Fiber creates a bulkier stool. The more you take the more water you need to drink for it to soak up to create softer bulkier poohs. If you are not taking in enough water with a high amount of fiber you could be giving yourself most of your symptoms. Lack of water with a fiber supplement will cause constipation (in extreme circumstances can create intestinal blockage). Gas and bloating are just part and parcel for taking a fiber supplement or taking too much of one.
As a long term crohn's patient I have seen just about everything a bowel can do to you. Fiber is my personal worst food to eat and I have been on a low residue diet for 14 years. I suggest setting aside the supplements and stick with just a stool softener for a bit see if it levels you out, or dramatically increasing your water intake. If you opt to increase water, that may help to some extent but fiber in a supplement form can still cause gas and bloating no matter how much water you drink with it.
Also, getting a doc to run pancreatic enzymes seems to be a pain. I was in the ER with classic pancreantisis symptoms and on a medication that could cause it (rare side effect) the ER doctor flat out told me I don't have it. Did not want to run the test, but did because I was adamant. Another doctor came in to tell me I would be admitted for around 3 days for pancreantitis...about 6 nurses did come in to say hi after I stood up to the doctor and was right. After experiencing both acute pancreantis and later gallbladder (lead to emergency surgery on Nov 1st a Sunday and a night in the hospital for Halloween) I would say your symptoms do not fit either. Nausea and vomiting are classic pancreantits, along with an intense "rubbing" pain on the back side if your stomach. Gallbladder is acute intense pain on the right side of the belly button radiation across as well. Both of these situations had me RUNNING to the ER, the pain was up around an 7-8. no questions something was really really wrong. I am talking on par with child birth.
sorry to get back to everyone so late but here's how my doc appt went ...
my original doc is out of town for 3 weeks so i decided to see another doc that practices there he didnt even exam me for my stomach issues but went on about how its my anxiety and i need to take medication everyday . he went on to write me a prescription for more meds my doc already gave me an went on saying other things . he also asked if i did illegal drugs or been to jail due to my tattoos im guessing ? he went on saying cause i had kids at a young age that thats part of my anxiety i didnt understand what all that had to do with my stomach issues . i told him i dont take every day meds for anxiety cause i spoke with my doctor and said i could do it on my own . he said there is no way to do that .. i left more mad then anything . so im guess im gonna wait for my doc to come back in order to get examined the right way . he made me feel so uncomfortable . i no longer have the feeling of being full but have some stomach pains but i have stomach spasm pills that help.. i dont understand why he acted that way towards me . i will never return to that doctor again . he never examined my stomach but told me to return today or tomorrow to have blood drawn to make sure i dont have a stomach infection or ulcer . but that after the fact i asked him ."what about my stomach" .
i forgot to mention he wrote me a prescription for a higher dose of anxiety meds and told me what my doctor gave me wasn't good enough .. i take one med only for panic attacks an anxiety attacks when needed he said i need to take that one everyday . but i informed him i've seen a lot of people get addicted to them ..
