Frustrated patient

Hello,
I am a 19 year old female who has spent the last six months struggling with medical problems. It started with a case of mono back in February. I am now being treated for erythema nodosum with steroids. I have had rectal bleeding for about six months now. My stools are inconsistent. I have a colonoscopy next week. The bleeding used to be only on the tissue, but now there have been instances of dripping blood and blood visable in the toilet. I also have been expierencing abdominal pain in increasing frequencies. The doctors are struggling to diagnose me. It is extremely frustrating. Can anyone offer some insight?
