| Re: How to self-treat hemmorrhoids?
Hi,
I don't think you can successfully self-treat your hemorrhoids. It's always best to see a doctor. Things have been mentioned on this blog (search or google them) like garlic, vitamin E, alloe, apple cider vinegar, etc. But I don't think they are terribly effective.
There is a myriad of treatments available for your type of hemorrhoids. Stop reading if you already know them: rubber band ligation, scleroscopy, Doppler guided transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialization, stapled hemorrhoidectomy, all will shrink and make sure your hems don't distend down to your anal opening.
I would see a colorectal specialist to diagnose my hemorrhoids and provide details on which treatment would suit me best. I once asked him what would happen if mine started to come out. He said he would first tie it up with rubber band, and if they came out again in a short period of time, he prefers the stapled method. But your doctor will actually examine you, and you will get better information.
Love
H
