Pebble like BM?

Hey guys, for the past few days I've been having normal BMs once a day. Color is regular as well. This morning I went for my usual BM as well, and everything was fine. After dinner, I felt pretty full from a lot of food and felt the need to use the bathroom. When I went, the stools were almost pebble like, very short and thinner than the usual. I had no pain or cramping. The color was still normal, and it was in no way hard to pass. It actually came out as if it was "rushed" (type 5 on the Bristol Chart - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constipation). I've never had this happen to me before, my diet has not changed, should I be worried? Any answers would be appreciated.

Re: Pebble like BM?

Small pebble like stools just mean you are constipated. Try increasing your hot liquids and fiber rich foods and it should get back to normal.

Re: Pebble like BM?

I thought I might be, but I certainly don't feel constipated at all. There's no straining as it passes, if almost feels more towards the D side.. it just drops out. Sorry for being graphic!
