| Stomach pain for a year....need help
My son is 15. He is 115 lbs and has been having general stomach pain for over a year now. He had his gallbladder removed in January and had a bile leak a week later that had to be repaired. He has had just about every GI test you could have and it has only showed up mild gastritus. He has taken nexium for over a year now. He take daily pain in his stomach about 2 inches above his belly button. He also has nausea and some vomiting almost every day. He was a 4 sport athlete two years ago and was not able to play any sports last year. He is always very tired and misses school often. He has not lost any significant weight except right after he had surgery he lost down to 103. He has a good appitite and eats well but all foods hurt his stomach. He has been tested by byopsy for lactose and frutose allergies and has a mild lactose allergy. We have been to see 3 pediatric GI specialists and still have no answers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
