This is very embarrassing to me but I don't know what else to do since I can't get to the doctor for a few days. I am 42 yrs old and have never had any major medical problems before so this is scaring me. The problem that I am having is severe lower abdominal pain with bloating (I look like I am about 8 mo pregnant) and instead of having a normal bm I have bloody mucus looking stuff with no stool at all in with it (or very minimal). Even if all I have to do is urinate, when I wipe there is still that mucus looking stuff like if I had a bm. I am also constipated somewhat. Like I said before this is very emabarrassing and not something I can talk to anyone in person about (other than a doctor "maybe"). I have done a lot of google searches on my symptoms and they all seem to lead to 3 different things. Colitis, IBS or Colon CA. I feel like these are 3 very different things, I really don't feel like it would be the Colon CA but maybe one of the other two. My symptoms started a few days ago but the abdominal pain with the bloating just came on suddenly tonight. Does anyone have any other ideas or have had any of these symptoms? Is this something I should be worried about or will I be ok if I wait to go to the doctor until later in the week if the symptoms don't go away on their own? Thank you so much for your help!!!
