| bleeding internal hemorrhoid
I have an internal hemorrhoid that started bleeding today, a fair amount of blood- enough to make the toilet water pinkish. I am positive that it's an internal hemorrhoid because the blood is spotty, not present in the stool itself, and I've had this before. What can I do to help heal it / stop it from bleeding? I don't want to hear long-term preventative measures or "go see a doctor" (going to call one tomorrow anyway if symptoms haven't improved), please just tell me what I can do myself tonight / tomorrow: should I use a suppository (I have rite-aid ones that are comparable to preparation H ones), or is that not recommended for one that's been bleeding? Is a sitz bath recommended? Thanks for your help
