 Mesh rectopexy and Future pregnancy
I have a rectocele, cystocele & rectal prolapse. My surgeons told me that I could get a rectopexy and that it would be the best solution to my problems, but it means that I "cannot have children." They aren't taking out my uterus, but the dr said it could ruin the mesh or something. Is that really the only complication? I already had a cystocele repair in May, and I don't want to just keep going in go surgeries. Basically, I want to get the most definitive answer to my problem, but am not sure I can say that I will never,without a doubt, want another child at age 30.
Anyone know if it is possible to have a child after mesh rectopexy? Anyone know more about the suture rectopexy as an alternative?
