| | Embarrassing Exudate and Body Odour
Little is more embarrassing than having to do frequent in between "cleanings" to avoid body odor. I shower daily (twice) but every 2-3 hours must slip into a bathroom and vigorously cleanse my entire extended groin area. Almost everywhere from below my waist to my mid-thigh area is involved, and some sort of exudate is always building. I have tried everything.
It is most embarrassing when I am with my boyfriend as I must get up at least twice during the night to clean myself. It is not yeast, but just as annoying. And when I exercise it get worse (I hit the shower immediately of course, but it concerns me when with others). Oy.
I have no infections, and take no meds except vitamins and antioxidants. I went through a sudden menopause several months ago (yay) and there have been no change related to that (other than decreased migraines!!). This is a chronic condition. Four decades ago (I have had this problem since a teenager) I was actually told by a physician that I would probably always need to wear liner pads just to minimize effects to my panties. He was right, and I still do, but it is more than vaginal secretions. Most of my life I have existed in a state of chronic inflammation (perhaps due to high chronic stress and/or being overweight). It has manifested in numerous ways. I am wondering how to cure it. I have tried antibiotics/antifungals. I take probiotics with my vitamins.
Regarding hygiene, I dry thoroughly after showers, and powder does not seem to help (it makes the frequent cleaning messier). I use odor-free deodorant/antiperspirants, and always use colognes/perfumes tastefully.
Any thoughtful suggestions would be appreciated.
