Try using a glycerin suppository to help soften the hard stool in the rectum. it takes about 30-60 minutes for it to work. You may want to put a vaseline just inside the rectum using a glove and vaseline around the anus to help the stool to pass through easier and hopefully it will help so you don't get a tear in therectum or anal fissure. when do get the urge to go,don't srain or force the hard stool out but take long slow deep breaths and hold it for the count of 10 and then slowly exhale through pursed lips and keep doing this for up to 30 minutes or unil you're able to expel the hard stool. If this doesn't work you may need to use an oil based enema.
