Sclerotherapy
Today I went to the colon specialist and he injected me with a solution to help with the swelling of my internal hemorrhoids. I was so nervous that I forgot to ask him a couple of questions. Doh! Anyways...

1. How long should I wait before I have a bowel movement? I had a bowel movement 7 hours after the injection.

2. Is this supposed to work immediately or does it take a while?

I had Sclerotherapy on my hemmies several years ago, it relieved my symptoms after a few weeks which is how long it takes them to shrivel up, though they did return after a while because of a poor diet.
