I am having the same thing. At my last colonooscopy which was negative for polyps but positive for IBS and hemmoroids , my GI specialist told me to come back in five years for a follow up colonoscopy. For two weeks I have had excess gas and diarrhea every time I eat. I have made an appointmen with GI doctor although they said I wasn't scheduled for another colonoscopy for another year. I very anxioius and fear I have cancer, however, I read where it takes 3 to 5 years for a polyp to develop and another 5 to turn cancerous. It seems the more I think about it the worse it gets. Any thoughts everyone.
