Indented crease down the middle of my stool
I'm normally constipated so I usually rely on laxatives to have BM's but on the rare occasion that I go on my own my stool is usually thin (not pencil thin but "marker" thin) with a crease that runs all the way down the middle like its folded over. The best way I can describe it is if you flatted a piece of play-doh or clay and the rolled it between your hands length wise. So I'm thinking maybe my stool is flat and gets curled over as its exiting my body, maybe??? Does anyone know what would cause this?
Re: Indented crease down the middle of my stool
The stool is thin ??
it sounds like your sphincter is constricted, and is not wide enough when relaxed
during defecation and there is a part of it that is scarred and is irregular so the
stool has a hard time exiting the past the sphincter.
The stool probably gets curled over this irregularity.
Also, what are your symptoms of "constipation" ??
constipation can be caused by many factors, including a constricted sphincter
that make it hard to pass normal sized stool.
Is your stool hard or soft ??
