Lightbulb head injury epilepsy

Does anyone have epilepsy resulting from head injuries? What are the chances of them disappearing?
Does anyone know about alternative ways of controling seizures.(I want to get off of medications which depress me further and drain my energy).

Hi CBB,
I began having seizures that the Doc's say are a result of a significant head injury sometime in my life. I have a lesion of scar tissue on my brain. I am almost 49, and my seizures began about 20 months ago. I do not remember any head injury. I think that scar tissue in some areas of the brain can be removed. Unfortunately, mine is not in a good area. As far as alternative meds, unfortunately I haven't heard of any treatment that can provide the necessary protection from seizures. I hope you are able to find the answers you seek. Meanwhile, be well, and stick around. There are some really nice people on this board. Kathy

What about Yoga, breathing excercises for brain oxygenation? I've heard that it is very effective.
