Headache after accident

I had got into a bad car accident a few days ago. My car was cut off and hit by a tractor trailer on a highway, I slammed into the guard rail and flipped over. At first, the only thing I remembered was the second before I got hit and then being upside down. I am slowly remembering more. I suffered from a concussion but no other injuries. (I may have a guardian angel ) Now I feel slight chest pain. I received few x-rays and a cat scan but everything seemed fine. After the accident I felt scared and depressed. I got prescribed Lexapro for depression. Since the accident (concussion) I have a headache that won't go away. One of the common symptoms of Lexapro is a headache, so I don't know if it is the pill causing my headache or maybe a possible head injury. I don't know if I should take aspirin or not either.

I would call the doctor and him/her know about the continuing headache.Don't just go off your Lexapro without a doctor's supervision. I get migraine headaches and one way I prevent them all together is by taking COQ-10 300mg daily and Butter burr. When I start to feel a headache coming on I take two Excedrin Migraine tablets right away and that stops the headache in it's tracks. But before you take any of these make sure your headaches aren't from the concussion or from the Lexapro and see your GP and psychiatrist that prescribed the Lexapro. I hope you feel better soon !
