Question please help me understand my toddlers mri which has been diagonsed with cerbral palsy

hi my name is missy i have a 17 mon old son who has been diagonsed with hyptonic cerbral palsy which is goin some spastic on the left side, my question is on the mri i have some sayin yes there is damage but not fully seen yet. there is areas of increase t2 flair signal seen in the white matter region, most promient in the peeritriognal and occipital location around the lateral ventriclesand also mild increased signal seen in the subcortical white matter region, also a signal seen in the supratentorial white matter region please help
