possible brain injury?
I've only posted about this on one other forum, but I'll post here too:
When I was 19 years old I gave myself a concussion. I hadn't been educated in school about concussions at all, so I figured it was no big deal and I was just relieving stress. Well the next day while using the computer, I started having pains in my wrist... that proceeded to increase throughout my body. I basically felt like I was being burned to death. I sought help from my doctor at the time but she didn't seem to think it was a big deal - and since I was fond of avoiding talking to people, I didn't peruse any further help until two years later. Anyhow, to shorten this story... I got help from a neurologist and felt fine for awhile. At the time I think I just couldn't feel any reflexes on my right side... but now (almost seven or eight years later I've realized I can barely feel anything in my body anymore. I barely sweat, I can't feel when I use the restroom, I don't have any sense of touch in my tongue, and my head has continued to (slightly) shake for the past ten years. I was wondering if there might be something else wrong with me? oh by the way the neurologist did tests years and years ago and told me I had no brain damage or nerve damage.
