Post Twitching nerves around head

For the past 4 months, it feels have if my nerves or vains(esp. on the sides) have been contracting or twitching. It doesn't hurt at all but I'm worried that it might tear. It feels as if it might burst. Does anyone know what's the cause of this? My blood pressure is normal but sometimes it fluctuates rapidly from normal to low. Is this a sign of something serious? Sometimes they twitch on one side of the head multiple times. It's very disconcerting and I can't concentrate cause I'm so worried it might tear.

They are tiny little muscles that twitching. Normally, they only move in unison with other muscles so you never notice them. The twitching won't hurt your blood vessels. It's usually an indication of an imbalance of something in you body.

The twitching can indicate a lack potasium in your body. Potasium helps insulate your nerves to keep the signals from going to the wrong places. It also help to keep neurons from misfiring. When that happens, a small muscle seemd to pulse by it's self.

Try eating a banana everyday to get potasium.

Stress also causes misfiring of nerves in your brain which can cause a muscle or group of muscles to twitch. If you have been under a lot of stress, it's best to discuss it with your family doctor. Too much stress is a bad thing.

Thank you so much Robert for the info. I will try eating a banana daily and see if it stops. Yes, lately I have been over stressed. I'll try to work on that one too. I'm kind of relieved with the info you told me. At first I thought it might be something serious.
