Recently, I had a bout that sent me to the ER - increased heart rate, SOB, etc...thought to be a panic attack...now, I am having tingling in both legs that feels like my legs are burning when I touch or bump them on something...my left leg is also weaker than my right, not to the point of giving out but weaker...my overall balance is fine but when I stand on my left leg I have difficulties maintaining my balance. When I walk, sometimes it feels as though I have to drag my left leg.

I had a CT scan that was negative and all my bloodwork came back normal. Stress echocardiograms ruled out heart problems. Now, I am now scheduled for an MRI/MRA of the brain to rule out lesions, MS, and anuerysms.

Does anyone have similar problems or symptoms? Note: I don't have weakness anywhere but in the left leg..and that heat thing in both feet/calves.

Is this brain related? Nerve related? Guess I'll find out in a few days but if you some insight, please let me know.

Hi, yes it could be brain, or nerve related, it sounds as though you are in good hands with your doc,I was wondering if you were over weight, if so i guess it could be that,.If not then i think it would be good to wait for the test results,, Its interesting can you post your results please...

HI,
I had a similiar experience a couple of years ago, after using a Torso Track. (excercise apparatus) Since it was both legs and no back pain, I went around the block to find out it was lumbar disc problems. Three disc compressed and one torn. They told me it was highly unusual for both legs to react to disc problems and that was the reason no one thought it was my lower back.
If they don't come up with anything on your other tests. A look at your lower back might be a good idea.

I feared that I was having a cardiac problem or a panic attack. If you've read other posts of mine, I was stating that I did not believe I had a panic disorder. Believe me, I'd rather have a panic disorder than what my true diagnosis is...MS. I am 31, 6'2", 245-250. I played college baseball and am in pretty good physical shape. MS is a tough diagnosis to swallow. But, I knew something was wrong and pressed my physician to have an MRI/MRA. That coupled with my physical symptoms led them to diagnose MS. How bad of a case it is, I don't know. But, thats where it stands. Thanks to all for your input.
