Help Me PLease - Brain & Nervous System Disorders Message Board

Hello. I'm A 19 year old male who has been sick for about 4 weeks right now. The doctors have done Blood tests and alot of other things and evevrything comes back fine. Which i know im not fine. My symptoms are the following, I feel dizzy alot and is worse when i walk around lots my head just dosnt feel right its hard to explain how it feels, i get shaky in my fingers and hands and gets worse with walking around ect. i get muscle twitches all over all the time which i suualy never got, i feel tired alot but its hard to sleep at the same time. I am starting to get really worried its been so long and seems like its never gonna go away the head feeling is the worst it makes me feel like im not all there kinda and have trouble with my memory somtimes and its starting to scare me can ssomone let me know if they have any ideas.

Before these symptoms started, have you changed jobs, changed your physical activity in any way, or moved? These symptoms can be caused by a problem in the neck and upper back area in the deep muscles. This problem will not show up on tests or x-rays and usually doctors miss this as the cause. A neuro. or physical therapist can check your trigger points to see if this is the source, and if it is, it can be treated with physical therapy, soft tissue work. This is what I had. It caused a whole host of very scarey symptoms such as dizzy spells, off balance, a feeling of being out of it mentally, head pressure etc. I went to the doctor for 6 months with these symptoms and was being treated for a virus as they could find nothing wrong. This was all caused by a job I had as it strained the muscles in my back and neck. I hope you find relief. Good luck to you.

hi, i have no intention of alarming you, just trieing to help. my symptoms began this way 5 months ago and now i have very little memory, i cant walk straight and some das not at all i have virtually no more ability to speak and i dont comprehend very well, my muscles twitch uncontrollably and i have stiffness and pain in my arms,legs, and back. my mri came back normaal but i have been told but several doctors that i have a desease of the central nervious system. they suspect the begining of multiple sclarosis even thuogh it did not show up in my mri,, im only 22 years old virtully paralized already and i haven even been diagnosed yet,, im saying dont underestamate the power of a dizzy spell, thats how it started for me..good luck and dont egnore it like i did.
