Eyelid twitching can be brought on by fatigue. Headaches awake and asleep could be from muscle tension. When I have muscle tension (the kind that can lead to painful spasm, the tension before spasm) I apply moist heat first (to loosen the muscles). I don't stretch when in spasm because it makes the spasm pain worse. When that happens I have to reallywork that heat in. Pulse power in the shower in the affected muscle group.
Micro arousals may be happening while you sleep. They are so brief you would not remember waking up. You may be getting 8 hours sleep (or so you think) but does not mean your getting the restorative sleep the body needs to function. You may be suffering from sleep deprivation. That can cause the symptoms you describe. The root cause could be stress.
One way to tell is to record your sleeping by cam corder. How else would one know? Unless your sheets are all knotted up and pillows strewn or a spouse telling you you snore

This way you could see what's happening there. It's not easy to detect sleep problems accept when one suffers lack of. Pulling an all nighter, double shifts or going without rest can bring that on. That is in essence what's happening to someone with disturbed sleep. Stress can upset the body. Also, make sure you have a comfortable bed, pillow etc. That can make a difference.
