mri,can it be wronge?im frightend and nearly parilized at 22 - Brain & Nervous System Disorders Message Board

please if anyone can help me. i have been very ill for about 5 months now, it started with a dizzy spell, tirdness,and headaches.i now have a very hard time consentrating and,walking, i cant hold my balence at all, my memory is getting very bad,and i have speach problums,i slur my words when i try to talk and i fall unconsious alot, and have begun to have jerking in my neck.i get these attacks sometimes that throw me into convusions, and when this happens i lose my abilitys to speak and walk compleatly. i had an mri a month ago and it was normal, so were my blood tests.i need help!!!they gave me the mri becuz the doctor was worried about the nurological test he proformed, i did very badly on them,,i want to know if the mri could be wronge, or if they should do an mri of my spine. because im slipping fast..and im only 22 yrs old,,the hospital tells me the cant do anything for me they say this is out of there hands so whos hands are left?? im scared,, please help,,thanks

See a neurologist. If you go to the hospital through the ER they will work you up. If I would have done that in the past, I think I would be better off today. But that is just me.

I hope things are better for you. It does sound like you need to go to a neurologist. I mean these symptons just don't happen to some one. Take a deep breath and if you can't be referred to a NMD than go to the ER and describe your symptons. They always have specialist on call. You can get the help you need.
