Visual Disturbances - Brain & Nervous System Disorders Message Board

I thought I would post this here. I hae been having visual disturbances for the past few weeks which include seeing a spot in my center vision that flashes, then over the course f 10-15 minutes it moves to my peripheral vision and grws to a hug semi-circle shape. The it is gone. Somethings a slight headache follows. sometimes severe..and smoetimes nothing.

I went to the Dr. and she said sh believes it is Ocular Migraines, but I have to have an MRI tomorrow at noon to rule out Brain Tumors, Anyerisms, and M.S.

Has anyone had these symptoms and they found something serious? I am scared to death. I am only 29 years old and have 9 week old baby.

You might try to get an appointment with a neuro ophthalmologist. They deal with the eyes, nerves and brain. So they could help rule out other problems.

What you describe sounds like the aura I get b/4 a migraine. good luck!
