| Re: tingling sensations
I'm wondering if they did an MRI of the neck or head, let us know. Might be wise to obtain a copy of your reports and have a look at them yourself. If you do this, don't freak out because sometimes there is terminology that you may not understand that will really not be a big deal at all... other times there could be something... I know from my own experience that neck problems can cause the tingling.. but I don't know what's been looked at in your case. Other thing is.. let us know how long ago the car accident was. Over time things can start to degenerate among other things. If its been a while you could always have another MRI done and/or a Cat scan. Flex and Extention Xray views of the neck asl could show problems going on in the neck as well. Good luck to you both and God Bless, I hope the problem is found... but it could very well be as the neruo doc says, but it never hurts to invetigate and be thorogh or to ask for another opinion by taking your films to someone else.
If Physical Therapy hasn't been tried, sometimes this can help, but sometimes it can makes things worse, and if it makes it worse it may indicate something more serious is going on, as it was in my case.
