Go to the dr and insist that he/she does a CT scan and does complete bloodwork. I also recommend a referral to a neurologist.
I had headaches as a child and when I was a teenager I was lucky to have an episode at school. The school did not want any liability so they called an ambulance. The hospital did a CT scan and found out that I had a rare genetic disorder called AVM. I was admitted into the hospital and had brain surgery a month later.
You probably do not have anything such as that but you never know and it's better to exhaust all possibilities. There are many diseases/disorders that have headaches as a symptom so you need to check everything.
