Please Help - Brain / Head "Cracking"

Hi Guys

Hope someone can reassure or advise me

I had brain surgery back in October and recently anytime I press against that side of my head or lie on that side I hear a continuous cracking sound.

It has started to happen now just randomly even if there is no pressure on that side.

It is freaking me out

Re: Please Help - Brain / Head "Cracking"

Hi,
I have the same issue with the "cracking" sounds, mine also started when I would apply pressure to my head. Now it happens all of the time, even when I'm not putting any pressure on my head. At my last appointment with my neurosurgeon he explained that it was where my bones have not fused together & they are grinding against each other. After brain surgery it can take up to a year for everything to completely health, so this is normal ( just takes a while to get used to)
