Re: when i turn my head or walk i get dizzy and my head and hands tingle
My therapist at a local hospital told me that ANY turning of the head was GOOD for me.I had attended 10 sessions of VESTIBULAR EAR DISORDER,for dizzy spells
and the prime exercise to do after I graduated (I asked for and received a Diploma) was to place the letter "B" on my doorway (at eye level) and turn my head slowly to one side, then the other,WITHOUT TAKING MY EYES OFF THE "B".
Then do the same exercise looking up and down, keeping the eyes fixed on the letter"B". She also gave me many "balancing"exercises to do at home. That I think is age related.I went to the E/R for legs going out from under me,and thought that was dizziness. The Doc said that was caused by back problems. He did give
me Meclizine for my dizziness, and I have improved muchly for a month now.It is an antihistimine used for motion sickness for sea /air/car travelers. It has been a God send for me.Good luck Bill
