My mum is 55 years old and keeps having absent 'episodes' where she zones out for a few minutes, sometimes longer. Her pupils go small and her tongue swells up. She comes round very slowly and has to go to sleep as she is completely wiped out afterwards. She has seen a neurologist who isn't convinced it is epilepsy and has had an MRI and an EEG which have both come back clear. Any advise is greatly appreciated.Or anyone who has experienced similar please get in touch. Thanks
