She is 14 years old and has developed the following symptoms with the last year:
1) auditory hallucinations
2) visual hallucinations
3) rapid heart beat
4) headaches
5) ticks

The CT scan shows a cyst 6 cm x 5.2 cm x 2.2 cm
Up until recently she has been able to deal with what is real and what is not real but finally she took an overdose of pills to get away from the stress that comes with these symptoms. She went to the hospital for the overdose and the doctors wouldn't let her go but rather they admitted here to a psychiatric hospital against the wishes of her immediate doctor and her parents.
She had an appointment with a local neurosurgeon but may not be able to go due to the confinement in the mental hospital. How is this possible that my beloved grand daughter has been taken away from us. What do we do now?
She is a beautiful, gifted student, makes straight As and demonstrates savant qualities in art. We just do not know where to turn. She is very happy in a home environment where she can get all the love and support possible. The doctors are saying that there is no symptomatic cause and effect between the cyst and the symptoms she is feeling but our research shows that there is a connection. This is a nightmare.
