Abnormal EEG in my 8 year old son

Hi. I was wondering if someone could clarify something for me. My son has a seizure at school about a month ago. He had an EEG just a few days later and I was told it was significantly abnormal and not only on one side of his brain but on both. What does this mean in simple terms? How is it different than being abnormal on only one side? Could this abnormal reading be linked to his extremely short temper?

I would ask for more info. from his Dr. or whomever performed the EEG. What do they mean by "abnormal"?

What is happening next in the treatment of your son? What are the next steps following the EEG? Will they be doing an MRI?

With respect to his temper, I'm not sure. Again, this would be a question to ask his Neurologist.
Write down all of your questions for when you go back to see the Dr. this way you don't forget and you can also make notes and jot down the information that they give you.
