MRI report on Brain... Means?

Any input of this would help. I do have a history of seizures. I was bitten by a tick on my head years ago, broke out with bulleye rash, and have one now. Sores, blasters and etc on skin. However, Doctors does not seem to think I have Lyme. Not sure what my MRI states below. However, now I am wondering if I do have LYMe or MS?

1. Small developmental venous anomaly at the junctions on the lieft mid insula and frontal lobe, usually an incidentgal finding. No evidence to suggest an associated cavernous angioma. 2. Two Punctata signal abnormallties in the subcortical white matter of the frontal lobes, a common finding which is usually incidental and decondary to a prior small vessel ischemic, inflammatory or toxic insult.

Re: MRI report on Brain.. Means?

There is absolutely nothing here which suggests MS. Having lived with MS for the past ten years - nothing here is concurrent with a MS reading. DId they actually test you for MS?
MS would show up with demylination, with lesions in a different area of the brain- and not at all like you wrote. I would be writing MS off at this point.
But, best to you.....I hope you get answers!

Re: MRI report on Brain... Means?

Find a lyme disease specialist and get tested. The venous anomaly could mean you have an unusual venous formation in that region of the brain- which isn't odd- my right radial artery loops onto the palmar surface of my hand and I can watch it pulsate- everyone is different-
The punctata signals may be secondary to inflammatory/toxic insult- find a lyme disease specialist.

Many Blessings

Re: MRI report on Brain... Means?

Is it typical, since I missed my Doctor office call on Friday, that a nurse at the Urgent Care section on a Saturday can only tell me "MRI Impression: Normal for aging." Is she perhaps not allowed to tell me any specifics? My Doctor ordered it as a baseline to rule out possible MS, possible Sjogren;s Syndrome."
