Question stage iv nonsmall lung cancer

hi i am new here. i want to know more about stage iv nonsmall lung
cancer from someone who knows about it. my husband has stage iv
lung cancer because it went to the brain after the lungs. radiation
got rid of brain tumor and chemo got rid of two small lung tumors.
he still has two lung tumors that havnt changed much in a year and
now has small tumors in adrenal glands and pinpoint tumors in his
bones. he was on avastin, alimta cysplatin, tarceva---now hes
trying carboplatin and taxotere. whats next? if there isnt anything
else, is hospice next? hes only 58 and his overall health is good.
i hope there are other chemo drugs out there to try. at least
now doc gave him a energy pill and a appetite pill to help him a
little. i know that doctors dont know how long you have but i
wish we knew something. any help or advice???
