The fight keeps getting harder, ready to give up!

Hello everyone

It's been a long time since I've posted anything, but I need to vent!

I have been struggling with vocal cord paralysis for since 2007 and it's been getting worse. my oxygen level has gone from 85% to 77%

my doctor ordered a ct scan to see how far the paralysis went down the throat?

Here are the results of the ct scan

There is a new 1.1 cm , calcified left temporal extra-axial lesion consistent with calcified meningioma. No mass effect.
At the C3-C4 there is left paracentral disc herniation and there are degenrative changes throughout the remaining cervical spine.
Oh yeah, and the vocal cords are still paralyzed!

..Now the fact the the findings say that there is a NEW calcified meningioma makes me think that I have an old one. Which no one ever told me about.
I'm also wondering if this is the reason for the lack of feeling on the left side of my face. I have had two neck surgeries which is the reason for my vocal cord problem, but I thought that this was also the reason for my face feeling numb.
As far as the herniation, NO WAY IN HECK WILL I HAVE ANOTHER OPERATION!!!!
It seems that the more I try to fight to get better, the more crap they find
enough is enough!
Any thoughts

Thanks for letting me vent

Re: The fight keeps getting harder, ready to give up!

Thank you for your words of encouragement! It's just frustrating to have these issues always popping up. Sometimes I wish I had just one big problem instead of so many annoying ones.

thanks again
