Angry Am I the only one that thinks doctors are not as smat as I once thought?

Once I was told of my tumor inside my skull is the time that the doctors stopped answering my questions. Now they only hint. They hint that I may need chemo theraphy, why would I need chemo, unless its maligant(please forgive spelling) OOO but the doctors don't say the nasty "M" word. I have an appt with a new nero surgan next week, maybe he will be a little more forthcoming.

Hi,
I'm so sorry that you have a "non talking" Dr. and I think you are very smart to find another one. There is NO reason for you not to get your questions answered, you are the client and have rights! you are near some of the well known treatment centers, if you aren't already there. My sister had a brain tumor several years ago and she went to UCLA and had a good neuro there. It's a field where advancements are being made all the time. I had a different kind of tumor, pituitary, and I can't believe the advancements made in just 4 years. Don't give up, see a new neuro and fight for information and the best help you can get. You know the old saying, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease"! The kids need granny! Diana

I had to postpone my new neuro guy, my car died the day before appt. I'm having a really bad time with doctors right now.

thanks for your response.
