Post experiencing constant "out of it", stoned feeling

I've been experiencing a constant "out of it," stoned feeling for about 3 months now. It started after prolonged stress/anxiety and multiple viruses at school. My doctor had been telling me that the "dazed" state is part of the virus but all of my other symptoms have died off except for this one. My dad's cousin had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so he thinks it could be that... anyway, I'm taking a break from college to sort this crap out and I hope you've come closer to a diagnosis. Has anyone experienced this? Do the symptoms go away?
