Hello this is my first post so I am still finding my way. I have a tumour just near the pituitary gland which is growing very slowly. The neuro surgeon does not want to remove it at this stage. It is heading up towards the optic nerves and eventually if not removed will send me blind. My balance is terrible I fall and have broken bones. My eyesight is getting worse and I get a lot of headaches. I feel the last two are due to poor sleep, I wake constantly as I also have a sleeping disorder. Has any one had the same sort of thing and at what stage was the tumour finally removed. I just don't understand apart from meddling with the brain as it can be dangerous, my tumour is just being watched. I have yearly MRI and comprehensive blood tests. I would like to have it removed I dont like the idea of a tumour slowly growing even if it is not malignant.
