| Zithromax and Breastfeeding
I have chronic Sinusitis so this morning when I ended up at QuickCare after a night of unbearable headaches and vomiting they prescribed me Zithromax. I did inform them that I am currently breastfeeding a 5 month old and the doc said it should be fine and to just feed before I take the meds or to wait at least 10 hrs after taking the pill to feed again as most of it will have gone through my system.
I have read both good and bad on the web so naturally have my concerns. I can always pump and dump but I HATE wasting "mommy juice" especially during cold season.
Any moms out there taken Zithromax while nursing?
