kairdex: You can try drinking warm milk before bed which produces tryptophan to help you sleep. You can try using melatonin. It's a hormone excreted by the pineal gland. You can buy it over the counter. You can also get it from drinking tart cherry juice - if you can find it anywhere. I hear you about the coldness. I can't sleep if I'm cold either. Try putting extra layers on. If the coldness doesn't go away then have your thyroid checked.
