bruise & lump in leg

I was in a car accident back in 2005 and got a contusion with lots of bruising on my left leg. That happened awhile ago and now I still have some light bruising that is like a pinkish/yellowish color. When I feel the area where it is still bruised, I can feel a little lump underneath the bruising. Does anyone know what may be wrong and why the bruise and lump won't go away?

Re: bruise & lump in leg

pinkish/yellowish color if its started to go yellow it should soon fade away, you may have swelling or a random lump for a while after. I also had a large amount of damge on my leg. this was caused by a rugby accident. first the bruise when dark purple and then tured yellow and faded away after about 3 weeks but it was really big. buy some cream for the bruise, the lump should go away with time. if it don't go see the doc
