Sherry1478 Newbie (female) Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Merritt Island, FL. USA Posts: 1	why a scab will not heal My daughter (10 yrs old)has been to a derm. 4 times now. She had a mole removed from the side of her head and it came back (abnormal mole but neg. margines) They applied silver nitrate twice and hasn't healed yet. I have applied bactratracin every night, It has been 8 months and still scabs over and not healing. Any advice why??
