| Infected Rug Burn?
Hi everyone,
I recently joined this site in hopes of increasing my knowledge for my current rug burn.
I took a pretty hard fall on my face and suffered a pretty distressing rug burn on the left side of my face. I clean the area three times a day with soap and water. In addition, I put neosporin on it.
Recently, I have noticed that I have developed small bumps on the right outer edges, they resemble goose bumps in size. And they burn/hurt when I clean the bumps with soap.
Do these tiny bumps forecast an infection? The general area is not yellow or green, so I really hope that it is not infected. The bumps I have actually seem to resemble another board member's situation after a sunburn, except mine do not cover the entire area of the burn; here's her situation: http://www.healthboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=608381
