A bruise that will not go away

I have a bruise on my knee that will not go away. It seems to get lighter and then another one comes in its place in the same spot. This has been going on for aboout 2 years. Why is this happening?

Re: A bruise that will not go away

just wondering if you have actually seen your primary doc during this two year period just to have some blood work done at least? it could just be a clotting issue with your blood or something else too. but if this has been going on for this long, it really does need some deeper investigation as to what keeps generating the bruising there. there just can be other reasons that brusing keeps on coming and going, espescially in only one particular spot. but DO see your doc to find out where this is coming from. it sounds like a symptom of something possibly deeper or underlying in you that just needs to be identified. hopefully your doc can find the reason for this. good luck and please let me know what you find out. Marcia
