Elbow injury

this happened last wed. I was out when I slipped on a puddle of water, as I was falling I used my arm to protect my face in doing so I landed straight on my left elbow, I went to the doctors and they did a xray but said there was fluid on it. It hasnt gotten any better at all. I can not straighten my arm all the way, if I have it bent (like when its in the sling) it will start to tingle like its falling asleep and Im seeming to drop stuff if I have it in my left hand.

Re: Elbow injury

Is your elbow hot to the touch? It sounds like you probably need to go to an orthopedic physician. If there is significant fluid he will most likely he will drain the elbow. You do not want an infection to start in there. sincerely, searchin

Re: Elbow injury

I went back and had more xrays done and it seems to be a break some where in there, the doctor made an appointment with a specialist but he said he wasnt sure if the specialist could do anything more. That the specialist just may tell me to keep it in a sling ( like ive been doing) and the exercises that I was told to do. I really dont know if I should go or just let it heal.
