| 2nd degree burn question
hey my name is amy and about 4 weeks ago i was at my neices birthday party and a fam member and i tryed to carry a whole thing of bbq hamburgers well to make a long story short the boiling hot bbq sauce spilt on my chest.. it was so bad that i ended up going to Immediate Care.. they ended up telling me that i have a real bad 2nd degree burn.. they gave me cream and told me to keep it covered... they also told me to follow up with my doctor in 2 days.. well 2 weeks later i ended up going to the doctor.. i really am not a doctor fan but i really wanted to make sure it was healing okay.. he gave me more cream and he told me that it is going to take about 4 weeks to heal.. and i am suppose to follow up in 2 weeks.. well it is healing okay, kinda slow but okay.. i was looking at it today (the open wound is still the size of about a donut) and i seen that it has some white bumps on it.. kinda looks like pimple white head.... there is about 30 of them on the burn.. it is not a blister nor a pimple... they are all pretty hard.. is this normal?? i have to go back to my doctor on thursday but i never seen anything like this before...
